Here we go. Long trip home.

Liked it this time much better here than as a teenager.

What a day. Last time I was here was 32 years ago. Not sure if I walked more then or now.

Finally we have made it. The view from our hotel room is cool. Right to the left is the beach and ocean.

We’re waiting at a tram station in Bern.

This is the PHOTO OF THE YEAR – anna meeting her biological grandfather and a lot of family for the first time at the 100-years celebration of the family chalet Sunnehalde in Wengen, Switzerland.

A Stöckli corresponds somewhat to an in-law stay. Such a Stöckli is often used when the parents get older and move out of the large house to have the kids be there with their own family. My cousin laid herself this beautiful stone-path in hard labor.

It’s the one to the left. Chalet Sunnehalde, built by our family ancestors, turned 100 years.

A beautiful place and people.

Bear was helping this weekend to put David’s and Jenny’s new house up.
This was the view he had to endure. Not even a million dollars would
have gotten me under the house and doing what he had to do to level and
fasten and secure it into its place.

It’s the weirdest thing for me to hear Xmas song all day long while having palms around me and people in short sleeves running around. Xmas’es for me should be white!
