Some true winter front is hitting us, and mainly so the wildlife. While they are fighting for some food, we are warming nicely at the fire.

We had a visitor at the kitchen door.

My good plans from re-installing everything freshly and to clean-up accumulated bytes from the past 3 years quickly went down the drain when hit with the realization of how much time this will take over WiFi and that I need access to some files quickly… but that quickly was just not quick. Already came this little restoration flash drive into full use. MIGRATING still took all night but starting up to a familiar screen IS nice.

The only non-fun is the work and time it takes to customize everything from scratch. Yes, every few years I rather do that then simply migrating. Forces to cleanup a lot of accumulated stuff.

How much smaller, thinner and lighter the Air is!

Love the colors and setup of my wallet but hate the fact that even after a year the compartments are too tight within to be really used and it’s a major pain to insert or remove cards.

Awkward and exciting times. Bern, Switzerland. Great food.

Good that the boys like any tools with the word power in it: I am getting a great cleaned-up deck.

Probably the last of this season, hand-in-hand with the last fire – and all gone by Monday.
