After 17 months under the same roof, a picture which I did not think would ever happen (considering the first few months). Sky and Xena sleeping voluntarily close to each other, with Sky’s head even resting on Xena’s back foot. No growling, no hissing and no swiping. What a dream.

Last time I was sick like this was 6 years ago. Do I feel sorry for myself. And irked that I had not been alert enough to catch it in time.

Bought yesterday this box of cereal which shows a lot of nuts and cranberries. Today when I opened the box my first thought was that they must have forgotten to add these. But then I found one cranberry. Guess I also found reality.

Last night at the ocean. Midway between Rome and Florence I found this place to stay. Season is obviously over, but we caught one of the last great warm evenings out.

My first ever carved pumpkin. Now I think I have truly turned American.
