This one is really sad. The 3 others are doing great. First it was being eaten by some termites. We cleaned it up and even though not growing as strong as the others, it seemed to be doing fine. Had high hopes that this year it would explode in growth. Then a storm last night and high winds. This morning the tree was down.
Days like this make me consider grocery delivery options. Thanks BMW for heated car seats in the Mini.
Yeah, I put this photo up, even though it’s from Friday – the photo I ACTUALLY WANTED to take I couldn’t take because I was driving in rush hour… but it was a late day at work and the back-lights of the cars and darkening sky were a real neat sight. But this, our basement is ALSO a neat sight… finally we are getting the sense of walls and not much longer until the dry walls are going to go up too.
This afternoon the snow came again. And the coziness. I’m in an odd
mind frameset. In some sorts full of melancholy because I don’t seem
able to decide and then to easily be as I’ve decided – this makes me
fight shadows… But then again I have these wide waves of contentness
and inner happiness to be right here, right now.
For a change the get-together is not to celebrate someone’s birthday but to build a new stairway to our basement.
Finally we got rid of the dark metal door in the walkout basement and installed a french door which allows some light to seep in.
