The encounters are getting closer…
… but not all the time better.

After 17 months under the same roof, a picture which I did not think would ever happen (considering the first few months). Sky and Xena sleeping voluntarily close to each other, with Sky’s head even resting on Xena’s back foot. No growling, no hissing and no swiping. What a dream.

Working on a new site, transferring from Photoshop into CSS. Xscope is a great tool for pixel perfectness on a monitor.

More snow. And cold. Bear is still under the flu.

We went for a walk The world is empty.

First anniversary I remember with this much snow.

She and Xena have a “thing”. Pains me to see as we do not know how to sooth it. Though it could have been also that she was rough-housing with her brother Sky.

Squirrels in our yard get fat while our cats get the thrill of watching them.

Yuki knows exactly how to let us know that she wants (even more) attention…

The word, quiet, distant and packed into cottonballs.

Some true winter front is hitting us, and mainly so the wildlife. While they are fighting for some food, we are warming nicely at the fire.

We had a visitor at the kitchen door.

My good plans from re-installing everything freshly and to clean-up accumulated bytes from the past 3 years quickly went down the drain when hit with the realization of how much time this will take over WiFi and that I need access to some files quickly… but that quickly was just not quick. Already came this little restoration flash drive into full use. MIGRATING still took all night but starting up to a familiar screen IS nice.

Days like this make me consider grocery delivery options. Thanks BMW for heated car seats in the Mini.
